My last days at work . . .

7th December

Well now I have officially finished working in Japan so I have time to enjoy more travels! My last day at Joken Junior High School was a good one with a formal assembly where I gave a speech in Japanese to all the students, received beautiful flowers and felt a little sad as my working days had come to an end in Japan. I really enjoyed working at Joken as it was a much smaller school and I got to speak to the students more. I also had my last visits to the three Elementary schools that I work at and that was also a little sad as I really enjoy teaching the younger students. I really hope to come back to Japan as it is such a beautiful country but also the students here are just so keen and wonderful! I will miss them!

The beautiful flowers

The great cookbook that the two English teachers gave me.

The beautiful dolls (for children's day) that the home economics teacher made me!

The wonderfully cute first grade students proudly showing me their "ripper" crocodile stickers!!
