28th October
Today Dad and Lainey arrived in Himeji after they had spent two very wet days in Tokyo. I met them at the station and then we dropped their luggage at home before eating lunch and heading to Mt Shosha.
It was a beautiful day and although I have been to Mt Shosha before it was different as the leaves on the trees are slowly beginning to change to beautiful shades of red. This time we actually made it to where the Last Samurai was filmed!
It was a good start to Dad and Lainey’s holiday in Himeji!
